MEDIA AND talking heads swallowed whole Trump’s “I wasn’t happy” comment to mean he had “disavowed” the racist chant, “send her back,” that broke out at a rally in Greenville, North Carolina this week.

Never mind that “I wasn’t happy” is not a disavowal.

Trump blasted through his previous statements today and turned on the blow torch.

The accidental president also lived up to the nickname I gave him.

The F.B.I. revealed the extent of Donald J. Trump’s complicity in the hush-money payment.

“I have learned that in the days following the Access Hollywood video, Cohen exchanged a series of calls, text messages and emails with Keith Davidson, who was then Clifford’s attorney, David Pecker and Dylan Howard of American Media Inc. (“AMI”), the publisher of the National Enquirer, Trump, and Hope Hicks, who was then press secretary for Trump’s presidential campaign,” an FBI agent investigating the matter wrote in the released documents.

“Based on the timing of these calls, and the content of the text messages and emails, I believe that at least some of these communications concerned the need to prevent Clifford from going public, particularly in the wake of the Access Hollywood story,” the agent said.

Anything to win in 2020 because the alternative could be jail. Once he’s no longer president, he can be indicted.

Still, the xenophobic fervor Trump has whipped up so soon in the 2020 campaign should cause all citizens pause.

The behavior of Democrats on impeachment has emboldened Trump.

His supporters are red hot. Mix that with the rhetoric out of the White House.

Someone could get killed.

Agreement with “The Squad” isn’t necessary to stand up for their rights as American citizens.

It should also be said that the accidental occupant of the White House has broken the labor laws of the United States through his discriminatory rhetoric directed at four elected congresswomen.

We escaped a constitutional crisis when the White House backed off the citizenship question in the census.

The Democratic Party leadership needs to up their game.

“FUCK OFF WE’RE FULL,” said one of these sorts of shirts, the design of the letters contorted into the shape of the United States of America. It was prominently displayed in the tent of sweat-drenched Glenn Wilcoxson, who had come from his home in Hudson, Florida. “Four left,” he told me, “out of—I don’t know—a lot.” It was a special offering, all his own, envisioned by him, his wife and his daughter, its timing the opposite of accidental. “We go by news cycles. We’ll design what’s going on in the news,” he said.
