WHEN REPUBLICANS recently tried to block the Violence Against Women Act from passing it revealed the ignorance of these men to what is still a horrible reality for many women.
But what’s really alarming about the news of this study is that it was done in 2008, but just recently leaked to the Daily Princetonian.
Women in the military have an even tougher time, which hasn’t begun to be addressed.
President Obama will sign the Violence Against Women Act on Thursday.

I am reminded of an add,I don’t remember what brand of alcoholic beverage it was that’s add line was “works every time” under a picture of a guy looking at an obviously unconscious woman.
Actually I am surprised the numbers weren’t higher. This coulture is a rape culture. They wanted it or they wouldn’t have………….fill in been drunk or dressed like a slut etc. etc. etc. and the rightwing mostly but the left too dishes misogyny as the norme.
It’s pretty shocking, even as much as I study this stuff, that a 2008 study of this type was JUST leaked.
That says as much as the stats.
