Soulless NRA Ad Uses Obama’s Kids as Fodder

Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

ON A dedicated site called “Stand and Fight,” the N.R.A. is using the ad shown in the “Morning Joe” clip above to publicize their battle with President Obama and others on gun safety. The ad is running on the Sportsman Channel.

The graphic above is a screen capture from the ad and targets the N.R.A.’s adversaries who have endeavored to hold them accountable.

“Mr. Obama demands the wealthy pay their fair share of taxes,” the narrator says. “But he is just another elitist hypocrite when it comes to a fair share of security. Protection for their kids and gun-free zones for ours.” [CNN]

The N.R.A. has never been a paragon of moral rectitude, but after the Newtown massacre the ad shows sheer soullessness.

If the soulless NRA actually believed their nonsense about guns guaranteeing freedom, they would have lobbied for the US to just give every man, woman and child in Iraq and Afghanistan an automatic pistol and a crate of ammunition, saving the US taxpayer a grundle of money over what we spent there.

    This doesn’t happen very often…but I’m speechless.

Ahhhh, nothing like calm, reasoned discussion from the gun/porn mob.
