THE SEGMENT on “Fox and Friends” today turned into a battle over whether Michael Savage is “malicious” or not, with O’Reilly and Laura Ingraham colliding on debate strategy for Romney.

Watching Bill O’Reilly’s face as Laura Ingraham takes it to him is a priceless moment.

The upshot of the whole segment?

Romney needs to capture Ronald Reagan.

    Is the only thing that ever happened in the history of the GOP is Reagan vs. Carter? Honestly, if I hear that comparison one more time I think I’m going to barf. I guess it plays well with their elderly base. O’Reilly is right about one thing though. If Romney comes off as a crazed talk radio jock in the debate, it’s going to be a disaster.
