Judge Simpson said in his Tuesday ruling that for the presidential election of Nov. 6, voters in Pennsylvania could be asked to produce the newly required photo IDs, but if they did not have them could still go ahead and vote. REPUBLICAN-DOMINATED legislatures have been concentrating on voter I.D. laws with the same focus they’ve unleashed the war on women, which has backfired badly on Mitt Romney.
One of the worst voter I.D. laws was in Pennsylvania, which Judge Robert Simpson has now put on hold until after the presidential election.
“While we’re happy that voters in Pennsylvania will not be turned away if they do not have an ID, we are concerned that the ruling will allow election workers to ask for ID at the polls and this could cause confusion,” said Penda D. Hair, co-director of Advancement Project, one of the groups that challenged the law. “This injunction serves as a mere Band-Aid for the law’s inherent problems, not an effective remedy.”

Well, more bad news for Lord and Lady Romney.
The sheer stupidity of pinning hopes on Pennsylvania boggles the mind.
This how today’s republican party behaves, they assumed running on the slogan “If you hate Obama, vote for me” would be good enough, this election year. They never thought that most “sane” American voters would need a little bit more than that slogan and low taxes for the rich.
Nothing these people do no longer surprises me. They better hope that Obama does something majorly to screw up his chances, before November…are they can forget about winning this years presidential election.
They could channel Florida and try some good old voter fraud, Republican style; register some voters who don’t really exist. Oh! wait a minute, only Democrats do that.
