For Anyone Who Actually Cares About the Colin Powell Endorsement

IT’S HARD to imagine why this endorsement matters, but it does to some. The Obama campaign is sending it out, so it obviously does to them.

It’s one thing to respect Gen. Powell’s service to our country.

However, his political judgment long ago proved weak, when he became a foot soldier for George W. Bush by pushing false evidence for the Iraq war at the United Nations.

    I wouldn’t say it matters to me, but it is a reminder that not all Republicans are completely insane.

      I have no idea why you’d say that.

      What he did during Bush is a disgrace. That he’d risk his own reputation is insane.

    Down here in SC, some caller to a local SC radio show said “what did you expect of Powell? He’s black!”

    Beautiful! You know how we black folks are. We only see color. All those black presidential candidates we voted for like Gore, Clinton, Mondale, Dukakis, Carter…

      And all the Poor White Trash only votes against Obama because of his skin color. Did the caller mention watermelon and fried chicken*.

    Powell was paid by Romney to endorse Obama. ;)
