Mitt Romney Floats Birther Joke in Michigan

THE GAFFERIFFIC candidate either can’t tell a joke or actually believes this stuff works. Adviser says Romney went rogue.

“I love being home, where but the both of us were born. No one’s ever asked to see my birth certificate; they know that this is the place where both of us were born and raised.” – Mitt Romney

After Team Romney attempted to clean it up, the dueling back and forth then began…

Spokesman Rick Gorka also downplayed the remarks in a gaggle with reporters after the event. ”It’s settled,” he said. “He’s illustrating that he was born and raised here in Michigan.”

President Obama’s campaign was not impressed. “Governor Romney’s decision to directly enlist himself in the birther movement should give pause to any rational voter across America,” said spokesman Ben LaBolt.

It came just as Donald Trump coincidentally tweeted a birther line.

Now trending on Twitter #futureMittjjokes.

The man has no social skills. I saw him on Leno a few months back and he made my skin crawl. He sat there twitching, folding and unfolding his legs, flashing his teeth like a dazed baboon. He kept making these moronic little jokes that no one laughed at but himself. Leno is not exactly an intellectual giant but he does on occasion ask some pointed questions when he has politicians on the show. Romney would not answer one; not one.

Romney has always reminded me of Pablum.

This election is getting worse and worse…between Obama making dog jokes about Romney…to Romney now becoming a blither comedian…No one, is focusing on any serious issues.

Mittens birther joke…to be honest will play very well with those who deeply hate Obama. Anyway, Obama should respond back with a tax joke about Romney etc…

Some observers talk about socon and that ficon;others talk about wings of the party;believe me if they are Republican they are all “birthers” at heart.

I think he should acquire a Spanish accent and drive around Arizona for a while.

What Mitt Romney said: “I love being home, where but the both of us were born. No one’s ever asked to see my birth certificate; they know that this is the place where both of us were born and raised.”

What Mitt Romney’s audience heard: “Hey, in case you haven’t noticed, Ann and I are white, and those people in the White House are not.”

The fact that the candidate’s own church didn’t recognize black men and the equal of white men until 1978 only serves to underscore how nauseating and sick Romney’s “joke” actually was.

The late former Michigan Gov. George Romney was a good and decent man. I’m glad he’s not alive to see his own son trash the family name like this with his craven behavior.

Donald — No, no one heard that. Racists heard that. No one else.

If Romney thinks that was a joke, then he is not funny. He is just feeding the Birther Crowd and look at the people speaking at the Convention like Donald Trump. He knows what he is doing. He has completely lost the African American vote so he is saying screw it, I am not going to win any anyways so might as well go all out and insult them.
