THE TITLE of Erick Erickson’s post says it all:
The Moment All the Doubts About Romney Resurfaced on the Right
The “Read My Lips” Moment of Betrayal At Least Comes Before the Election This Time
Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh are leading the charge for Andrea Saul’s head.
Romneycare is the word that shall not be uttered, even if it is Mitt Romney’s crowning achievement in politics.

Another example of how batshit-crazy American political discourse has become. It’s a “betrayal” when:
- In response to the reality that both cutting taxes and expanding the defense budget leads to deficit spending, a President finally relents and raises taxes back to something like they had been, or
- In response to a charge that he doesn’t care about whether working people can get health care, a Presidential candidate’s spokesperson says that he did almost exactly what his accuser has done about health care years ago.
We really have fallen down the rabbit hole, haven’t we?
yep… this race is somethin’ else.
Romneycare is the word that shall not be uttered, even if it is Mitt Romney’s crowning achievement in politics.
Romneycare which was a Republican idea they turned upon once the Democrats took it up, is being feared as breathlessly by them now as Harry Potter and the Hogwarts School of Wizardry feared Lord Valdemort http://tinyurl.com/79wyb whose name they could not utter either and referred to him as “he who must not be named”.
Very entertaining although I much much prefer watching the Harry Potter series.
Michele Mailkin tweets: “No one wants to hear about Romneycare”.
Oh, contraire, Madame Defarge ! Quite a lot of us do.
Romney has two anchors hanging around his neck, RomneyCare and tax returns. The negtive or as some would say contrast ads are working. Two new polls just released show that nationally Obama leads Romney by 7 and 9 points. CNN has Obama leading Romney by 7 points.More interesting is that the just released Fox News Poll has Obama leading Romney by 9 points

In the electoral college Obama leads Romney in a landslide

What can Romney do to turn this around?
