Cue the culture warriors, who actually believe it’s about kids wanting to experiment with their gender, instead of grappling with what they’re being told from the inside about who they are as people.

This is just embarrassing.
Confusion is one thing, but there’s nothing “dopey” about it. Deciding to “experiment” with gender is not a choice. It’s about an inner drive and longing, because something is hard wired inside a person that pushes him or her to discover what it is and why they don’t seem to fit in by being the individual they see in the mirror.
Why would any person choose to serve themselves up for derision by Bill O’Reilly, whose got the biggest ratings among the cable infotainment shows, if there was a choice?
I never watched GLEE but my wife is a big fan, I did watch that episode mainly because it was a tribute to the movie Saturday Night Fever and I grew up in Bay Ridge Brooklyn and lived five blocks from the Disco dance hall that the movie was centered around at the time it ewas filmed. I don’t watch Fox, so I am a little confused. Glee is a Fox production and Carlson and Pirro are defending Glee against OReily on Fox News? The Fox mind is publicly splitting into multiple personalities. Although schizophrenia is one of the milder forms of right wing insanity.
Also, the young black guy is the black female dancer? Didn’t they used (for us old guys) to call that person a transvestite or drag queen? According to Wiki those terms are now considered derogatory and, if so, I apologize. I suppose transgender means any kind of behavior which moves across traditional sexual boundaries. For a 60′s liberal I have to say we have definitely expanded the meaning of sexual identity.
A transvestite is a straight male that enjoys dressing in women’s cloths. A Drag queen is a gay male that cross dresses in women’s cloths. Transgender is someone either male or female physically that gender identifies opposite of what their physical gender is.
Besides, Glee looks like an updated version of La Cage Aux Folles, with O’Reilly playing the Gene Hackman character. They even look like each other.
A trans-gender student in High School?!?!?! Maybe I am missing something hee. From my understanding becoming “trans-gender involves mutilation of the body and a heavy dose of hormone drugs. I do not think a child in high school should ever go through something like that. I know this is only a TV show.
