I guess I’m just in the mood for something different today, including a big dose of humor. I get to the “I need to laugh” point fairly often, in large part related to the advocacy kind of thinking about – in no particular order – Queerdom, Occupy, The Two Party Front for the Oligarchy, Women’s Rights, Immigration, Sexism and Misogyny, Racism, Unemployment, Foreclosures, Health Care as a Product, Citizens United, the National Defense Authorization Act, Media Coverage, Homophobia, Drones, Wars, etc. Thankfully, there are so very creative people out there who help me with the humor. Examples from just a few of those follow, which make me smile while also making me think.

Okay, maybe this one isn’t exactly in the humor column, other than in a sad, sardonic sort of way – all these years later, and JFK’s words are still 99% relevant. From Facebook Wall Photos:
In the world of Queerdom, this sums up what usually happens when an adult talking like an adult “explains” LGBTs to children, from Facebook Wall Photos:
Used with Vast Left’s permission, one cartoon from his American Extremist series:
Finally, this from the OWS’ Twitter Feed: “@Adbusters The Showdown in Chicago has turned into a G8 Backdown. bit.ly/wPLUog #OCCUPYCHICAGO #OCCUPYCAMPDAVID #OWS”

LOVE the Vast Left cartoon (last one)! Love it. The rest are good too. Thanks Joyce.
Check out Vast Left … His American Extremist series is great.
I can relate. I seem to be mostly doing stuff like this lately.
