Michele Bachmann Suspends Campaign

From CNN, earlier this morning:

Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann is suspending her campaign, a GOP source familiar with her plans told CNN Senior Congressional Correspondent Dana Bash on Wednesday.

A Republican source familiar with Bachmann’s plans told CNN Chief National Correspondent John King earlier Wednesday Bachmann “will acknowledge the reality of Iowa’s vote” a at Wednesday morning press conference.

Michele Bachmann, the first female Republican candidate to win a straw poll, caucus or primary, has finished the race dead last.

Nobody will be asking for her endorsement.

      Yep, and she made history while doing it, though NO ONE is talking about that part since she collapsed afterward.

        Not a surprise, but I’ll bet the GOP will refer to at some point, to “prove” their support of women, and/or as a “get the women’s vote” effort.

    Hi Taylor,

    Gotta say I’ve followed this blog since 07 when I was a big Hillary supporter. Now I find myself more of a Palinista, and I know you’ve largely written her off, but I do keep coming back here because I enjoy your frank, thoughtful and independent analysis. You always beat to the sound of your own drum and I respect that a lot. Keep up the good work and I can’t wait to read your book.
