This is not helpful to the White House. I heard it this morning and it made me cringe.
Mika Brzezinksi: Do you want to know why I have a file that I’ve been working on with the White House—and I’ll be very transparent about that? Because of your friend Rudy Giuliani who came here last week spewing out a whole bunch of nothing.
It does even less for “Morning Joe.”
As for Ms. Brzezinski, she’s supposed to be an experienced journalist. But what’s even worse is that when Rudy was on last week there was more than enough in the political bloodstream to rebut him, if that was what she wanted to do, without “working with the White House” on a file to help her do it.
Whatever happened to just stating the facts without taking sides? This includes admitting that the Obama administration has made many errors in this environmental and ecological catastrophe.
Neither the Executive Branch through Bush or Obama, but particularly Interior Sect. Ken Salazar, who should step down, as well as Congress, but including environmental groups, have committed themselves very well on this catastrophe.
Anyone saying otherwise is just providing cover.
