So this guy, David Rosen, has to put on a political fundraiser for his boss, a certain would-be junior senator from New York. And he's sweating, because the whole affair, a Hollywood tribute to the would-be senator's husband, Bill, is threatening to become so expensive that it can only lose money. So Rosen takes the actual cost of the event—more than $1.1 million, donated by another guy, Peter Paul, a thrice-convicted felon—and marks it down in the campaign's federal finance reports to about $400,000. There is nothing like starting the New Year with a juicy, hate
filled email screed, which gets a boost from an old time conservative rag.

But first you need to get caught up on the
drama surrounding the big fat Hillary fundraiser. Then we'll get to the
latest chapter in the ongoing, never ending anti-Clinton smear campaign. We've had several versions of kill Bill, none of which worked, so now it's time for the sequel.

The characters, and I do mean characters, in this drama are David
Rosen, Peter F. Paul, Gary Kreep
(after all, you've got to have at least one name that encapsulates the entire
saga) and his “foundation,” even a relative of Teddy Kennedy, and
Democratic Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Oh, and did I mention President Bill Clinton?

It's a wacky story, but at the
base of it is the claim by Paul that Bill would join his company, Stan Lee Media,
after his presidency. Paul's company is a partnership between Paul and superhero
Spider-Man creator. However, it's devolved into an obvious kill Hill campaign.

NOLA
has a great rundown of it all. One of the things NOLA reports goes
like this: “(Paul) awaits sentencing after a federal conviction
in March on charges of stock manipulation that could have cost investors $50
million.” Class act, right?

The New York Sun
covered Kendall's October California state appeals court anti-SLAPP
motion, which sought to dismiss the parts of the case that hadn't already
been dismissed, as well as keep Hillary from having to appear.

Enter Human Events magazine's Happy New Year email. Using their
online email treasure trove, this right wingnut mag that has given Ann Coulter
a home for many years, begins the year trying to pump up the anti-Hillary volume.
Compliments of Terry Jeffries' email list, Gary Kreep and his “U.S. Justice
Foundation” are getting a wider audience. The Stop Hillary machine is up
and running full speed, as they anticipate her run for the 2008 presidential
campaign. I'll leave out the anti-Hillary, re-hash, but give you part of the

It's nothing but a kill Hill campaign, baby. However, it's a gift to the gal, who will just seem all the cleaner in comparison to the rehashing of the VRWC crackpots.

What Hillary's enemies are trying to do is keep the story alive. No one cares
about it today, but will they in 2007? Only if the truth is kept hidden and
it comes out as some Ken doll Sean, el Rushbo right-wing radio crusade against
a Clinton, as they trumpet it as “news.” Human Events began a new
campaign right at the dawn of the New Year. It seems clear they're going to
