Bush Didn’t Know about Bin Laden

Today’s attacks came a day after the bodies
of 36 Iraqis were discovered in two villages north of Baghdad, all of them shot
execution-style. The pattern of violence has been uneven since the December
elections, with a burst of deadly attacks in early January followed by a lull,
and a rise in the past few days. American military officials say they expect
violence to surge further after the election results are released, possibly
as soon as Friday.

George W. Bush didn’t know about the bin Laden tape this morning.
The American people knew before he did.
As he stepped out on to the stage to talk about economics, the
entire country watched as bin Laden’s image was blasted from coast to coast
and around the world.
Yet George W. Bush rambled on.
Dick Cheney talked about our great country in his terrorism
speech. But he didn’t mention bin Laden once, not once.
It makes you wonder if George W. Bush even realizes what’s going
on in Iraq. That carnage is the order of the day, every day, while the Administration
is still trying to get body armor to our troops.
Bin Laden is Terror Guy’s 10,000 ton elephant that he can’t do
anything about because he doesn’t know where he is. He
doesn’t even know where he is when he’s on every American TV in the country.
No wonder bin Laden isn’t worried and the Muslim world is laughing.
