Who Am I?

Taylor Marsh writes buzzworthy thrillers. She cracks open mysteries of life tied to the sacred and psychic. Her gripping thriller MAY BE FATAL hit Amazon’s top 100 (in three categories) in 2019 and was named “One of the Buzziest Books of Februaryby New In Books.

CITIZEN KATE is unlike any other political thriller. Trump’s gone, but the disruptive politics of the era remain. The new president watched his predecessor and learned from his unforced errors. So, he’s more dangerous, and so are his White nationalist allies. But psychic profiler Dr. Kate Winter is on to them.” – Taylor Marsh

Taylor’s Letter drops monthly.

Her psychological thrillers can be found near Sarah A. Denzil… Taylor’s women tread where safe spaces are hard to find.

CITIZEN KATE is a disturbing political thriller.

“The first three years I lived in the Washington, D.C., suburbs (Alexandria, Virginia) was spent in the audience of national security think tank lectures and attending small foreign policy forums, listening and learning from national and global experts. Foreign policy is one of my passions. Weaving it through CITIZEN KATE became an adventure, as did the immersion of cultural rifts in a post-Trump age. The presidency of DJT hovers over tomorrow’s history.” – Taylor Marsh

Marsh is an accomplished speaker and communicator. A former Broadway performer and beauty queen who was the Relationship Consultant for LA WEEKLY, then the nation’s top alternative newsweekly.  Wrote and produced her one-woman show, “Weeping for J.F.K.,” and dipped into talk radio. The author of two traditionally published non-fiction books, Taylor turned to fiction in 2015.

Taylor was profiled in The Washington Post and The New Republic for her coverage of Hillary Clinton during the 2008 Democratic primary season. She has been interviewed by The New York TimesThe Los Angeles Time, New York Daily News, BBC, CNN, MSNBC, Al Jazeera Media Network, and C-SPAN’s Washington Journal, among other outlets. She was an early contributor to The Huffington Post (2006) and has written for Washington, D.C.’s The Hill, as well as for U.S. News & World Report and for Zócalo Public Square in Los Angeles, among others.

Some of my highlights

Everything begins with meditation and clearing my mind, getting to that place where the noise doesn’t enter. What rises in the silence is what I pay attention to when I write. Through my instincts, and meditation, I reach into the invisible world central to my work and my life. I’ve gone from christian to magician!
Jerry Herman cast me in “The Grand Tour“ in my very first Broadway audition, making a childhood dream a reality. I didn’t even have an apartment in the city at the time.
Reading, and producing my first audiobook for Olivia’s Turn, an intense psychological thriller.
Devouring interviews with fiction writers in “The Paris Review.”
