Mueller Adds Obstruction in New Manafort Indictment

The special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, brought new obstruction charges on Friday against President Trump’s former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, and added allegations against a close associate, who prosecutors suspect has ties to Russian intelligence. [New York Times]

THE INDICTMENT special counsel Robert Mueller dropped on Paul Manafort is for crimes he’s committed this year.

Also indicted was Manafort’s flak Konstantin Kilimnik, whom we learn is “Person A.” He has been referred to in other Mueller court filings.

All of this happened as Trump flew into the G7 Meeting requesting Russia be readmitted to the group.

To which France’s Macron reportedly said, The G-6 sounds fine to me.
