Sally Yates: Mike Flynn ‘Compromised,’ Russian ‘Leverage’ Dangerous

President Donald Trump has drawn a lot of criticism for his decision to lash out at former acting Attorney General Sally Yates on Monday, just hours before she was scheduled to testify about former Trump National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. [Raw Story]

RIGHT ABOUT now, Senator Ted Cruz is trying to find his… um… ass.

Sally Yates handed it to him in an exchange that left little doubt which one of them actually knows the law, understands partisanship, and was ready to prove why the U.S. Constitution doesn’t lend itself to cherry-picking.

Senator John Cornyn did his best to make Ms. Yates look like a partisan amateur, but failed almost as miserably as his colleague Mr. Cruz.

Meanwhile, NBC News is reporting that President Obama warned Donald Trump against hiring Mike Flynn.

Former President Obama warned President Donald Trump against hiring Mike Flynn as his national security adviser, three former Obama administration officials tell NBC News.

The warning, which has not been previously reported, came less than 48 hours after the November election when the two sat down for a 90-minute conversation in the Oval Office.

Former DNI Director James Clapper, along with former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates, testified today on Russia, and all things Mike Flynn.

At several critical moments in answering questions, Ms. Yates, as well as Mr. Clapper, demurred, due to classified information they couldn’t expose in open session.

Neither Mr. Clapper or Ms. Yates knew how classified information got into the news. They each said they had no involvement in any way whatsoever.

We await, with bated breath, President Crazy’s next tweet on the subject.
