THE TONY AWARDS were Sunday night and as usual they were so much fun and something I never miss. Once a Broadway babe, always a theater lover, which began for me when I was a kid.

Hugh Jackman started the show by hopping his way into Radio City Music Hall, which if anyone else had done it, instead of the triple threat hunk, he (or she) would have been laughed out of the theater. It was odd, but nobody cared. It’s Hugh Jackman.

NBC has a terrific slide show of photographs, with Neil Patrick Harris, who also won a Tony, in a classic pose from “Hedwig and the Angry Inch.”

Huffington Post has a complete list of winners.

Brian Cranston won a Tony Award for his portrayal of L.B.J. in the play “All the Way.”

Tony WinnerAudra McDonald made history with her 6th win, as Billy Holiday in “Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill.”

Tony Winner… Best performance by an actress in a leading role in a musical, Jessie Mueller, “Beautiful – The Carole King Musical.”

For all you theater lovers who know “The Music Man,” Hugh Jackman joined LL Cool J and T.I. in a rap of the musical, which I absolutely loved. With a shout out to #QuestLoveTheRoots.

Clint Eastwood also presented, while pitching “Jersey Boys,” which he has directed for the big screen and is out June 20. I saw the show on Broadway and cannot wait to see what Eastwood does with this fabulous musical.
