Roger Ailes Talks: Obama was Worried About Sean Hannity

“Newt’s a prick.”Roger Ailes

IN THE teaser on Vanity Fair’s website, previewing Zev Chafets’s book, Roger Ailes: Off Camera, who had the Fox News channel chief’s cooperation, a stunning anecdote is revealed. President Obama actually went in to see Roger Ailes to complain about Sean Hannity.

After some pleasantries, Obama got to the point. He was concerned about the way he was being portrayed on Fox, and his real issue wasn’t the news; it was Sean Hannity, who had been battering him every night at nine (and on his radio show, which Fox doesn’t own or control). Ailes didn’t deny that Hannity was anti-Obama. He simply told the candidate not to worry about it. “Nobody who watches Sean’s going to vote for you anyway,” he said.

It’s truly stunning that President Barack Obama let a gnat like Sean Hannity bother him to this extent. Only his own ego could make Barack Obama confront Ailes over Hannity.

The White House could not have possibly been worried about Hannity’s impact, because absolutely no one listens to him other than the wingnut chorus, who would never vote for Obama in the first place. This is exactly what Roger Ailes told Obama.

It’s something the President should have known, because everybody else most certainly does.

Oh, good grief. Yet another example of how thin skinned Obama is.

Why Obama ever wanted to be President still stymies me. Frankly, I don’t think he himself knows.

Outside of Roger Ailes ridiculous network, I don’t think any President has enjoyed so much positive press coverage as has Obama and for so long. Most President’s that I’m familiar with had very short honeymoon’s (if any at all) with the mainstream press both in print and TV. Obama has been fortunate in this regard so this display of his thin-skin (especially over someone like Hannity) is not only annoying, it’s just foolish.

Is there any proof other then this reptile Ailes’s word that this actually happened? I mean it’s not like him or his Saudi owned propaganda swamp have ever LIED about anything before……

Sec, I have no respect let alone consideration for Ailes. However, I don’t give a rats petut about him. What is concerning here is that Obama has a history of being thin skinned against Ailes’ propaganda machine especially with the loathsome Hannity. Ailes is like that broken clock. A normally unreliable person or instrument can occasionally provide correct information. As in this instance, imho.

All I’ve asked is is there any proof other then this reptile Ailes’s word that this actually happened? From what I just read in this post all there is is Ailes’s word for it.

The White House would dispute Ailes’ story if it were false, yes?

A non response to a claim made by a documented liar is hardly a recommendation of veracity of the claim.
It should be fairly easy to provide proof of Ailes’s claim. When someone makes outrageous claims the burden of proof is on them.
