Hillary Gets an Agent

hillaryclinton.com

BILLED AS an “exclusive” from Mike Allen, his piece doesn’t report anything that hasn’t already been written, expect that Hillary Rodham Clinton has signed with a big agent, who is also representing her husband. That Mrs. Clinton is joining the Harry Walker Agency isn’t really news once you look at their roster. The former secretary of state is now on the front page of the agency website.

It is fitting, however, that Mike Allen report this development, because he is one of the hardest working people in politics.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will hit the paid speaking circuit this spring (likely April or May) and has selected the Harry Walker Agency, which represents President Clinton, as her agent. – Mike Allen

It is not news that Mrs. Clinton will get a 6-figure fee, which Allen reports by writing “industry officials expect that she will be one of the highest paid speakers in the history of the circuit.”

Considering non-profit work, as well as mulling foundation work of her own or joining the Clinton Foundation is an obvious thing to consider, as is the book she simply must write.

However, the video Allen serves up is hilarious, considering what Hillary will face if she decides to run in 2016. Republican awe will turn to shock and destroy pretty quickly if she does announce another run for the presidency.

No one knows if Hillary is going to run but the bigger question is what if she doesn’t? Who do we have? Cuomo? That’s about the only person I can think of right now.

      Joe Biden.

ROFLMAO! ’cause I’m sure you’re not serious but I’m sure Biden thinks the time is finally right for him.

Actually, there is a lot of people that would support a Biden run, if Hillary does not run herself. I think a Biden win really does depend on who the republican front runner is in 2016. And also, Obama coalition of 2012 will most likely go with anyone who they think is the heir apparent…right now, its toss up between Hillary and Biden.

          So, I wouldn’t write off Joe Biden…LOL

I certainly would strongly support Vice president Biden for President if Hillary Clinton doesn’t chose to run.

      Hillary / Jesse Jr ??

Joe Biden has been a solid vice president and if his health is good there’s no reason he shouldn’t consider running. In fact, he’s already sent out solid feelers that’s exactly what he may do.

Waiting for Hillary…. though I think it should be a robust primary season, so these two friends squaring off would be great.

Joe working the crowd at the inauguration was hilarious! I do not think he is running but enjoying the festivities. We shall see what happens closer to 2016.

On the plus side, a lack of enthusiasm for a democratic candidate like Biden could bode well for emerging party candidates.

    • angels81 February 18, 2013 at 5:23 pm #

What makes you think there would be a lack of enthusiasm for Biden? Biden does well with labor, women and the base of the democratic party. The Biden we see today is not the same Biden we saw when he was just a senator. Four years into being VP Biden has become a working class hero with a lot of voters, and I think enthusiasm will be high if Obama ends on a high note and republicans keep doing what they have been doing.

“On the plus side, a lack of enthusiasm for a democratic candidate like Biden could bode well for emerging party candidates.”

It is always supremely entertaining when the fringe KNOWS they have their trembling fingers on the pulse of the electorate…SUPREMELY entertaining!!!

Do you even read the comments you reply to before doing so? Please point to the place in my comment where “KNOWS” is said, implied, hinted at, etc….I’ll wait…

          hmm…crickets…there’s a shocker!

Also, I’ll take being “fringe” and sleeping with a clear conscience over the alternative your example suggests.

        • Taylor Marsh February 19, 2013 at 9:21 am #

It’s unhelpful and actually inaccurate to call anyone disapproving of the elite establishment parties “fringe,” secularh, considering the vast discontent of Americans with BOTH parties, Democratic, but especially, Republicans.

This includes people registered as D or R, let me add.

Oh please….“On the plus side, a lack of enthusiasm for a democratic candidate like Biden could bode well for emerging party candidates.”

This is the mainstream query or opinion? HELLOOOOOO reality calling.
