I’m afraid republicans have learned nothing from this election. I have this sneaky feeling that republicans in the house will continue along the lines they have been operating the last two years. There will be no compromise when it comes to raising taxes on the rich, and they will let the country go over the cliff, and then will blame democrats and Obama for the failure. As long as there are leaders in the house like Ryan, Cantor and the teabagger element which will hold the republicans up on any compromise. They still believe that the country is right of center, and it was Romney being a bad candidate for the reason they lost.

I was pretty interested in Boehner’s comments, especially after reading Woodward’s book.

He’s been waiting to bring Cantor to heel for a very long time. Virginia’s vote sent a strong message to Cantor if he’s interested in hearing it.

I LOVE Murray’s threat, but then I’m not afraid of the “fiscal cliff” or any of the financial fearmongering the infotainment hosts shovel.

Murry seems like she will hang tough, love that. Sherrod Brown is a treasure. Ohioians are so lucky to have him and evidently they know it.

Up with Chris Hayes is must watch …the best political and policy conversations on television. I notice the others are all hyping the “cliff” Hayes calls it a curb. I so enjoyed his laying out that really “nobody” really is concerned about the deficit it is more about ideology and power.

Bill Moyers was good today too. He had James Fallows on who really has a worlds view and it not afraid to say what he thinks. His take on China and how they view us is very interesting.
