“Well when I’m asked I am very happy to respond,” Clinton said. “I mean it’s not anything I have direct responsibility for, but I’ve had a number of conversations. And both in the White House, and on the Hill, and with others who are playing a constructive role. And I – I like I think many Americans hope that there can be a positive outcome.”

I am happy to know that there are people who remember Clinton has a huge reservoir of knowledge on this subject and seek her out to gain her advice.
As always, she is classy and respectful, knowing her current responsibilities preclude her from having a direct role in this reform, however, she is happy to provide advice and share wisdom of her experiences ‘when asked’.

Since it has not yet been done, it means they do not know HOW to do it. This forcibly suggests to me that HCR is for all intents and purposes dead.
It is not going to happen.
Right. She did such a wonderful job with her own legislative attempt. She screwed the pooch so badly way back then that it took 17 years to bring the topic back up. Obama would be well advised to listen to neither Clinton about anything. That is if he wants to succeed at something. Peace

I see that you still are totally consumed with the self-righteous hatred of CDS (Clinton Derangement Syndrome in Taylor Marsh land).
I should have scrolled by this posting by you like I normally do. Your derangement problem makes me never read your posts – I see your name and skip on by.
The number of your posts that I have skipped past is probably getting close to 50 or 60 now. You seem to like TM, but I’m not sure why except you seem to need to insult and demean people and you can find people who disagree with you here.
Should have skipped past this one.
Clinton didn’t screw up her attempt at health care; it really was a deliberate sabotage event by right-wingers. But, she didn’t whine about it, either, and that just goes to show her strength of character. I do not agree with Hillary Clinton on every issue; but I respect and admire her tremendously, and I sure wish she had been the nominee for the Democratic Party. I think she could have beaten McCain–particularly after he chose Palin as his running mate.
But, it was not to be. and now, we’re stuck with Obama-Care. Oh, right.
