Unlike you Kris, the President has to deal in facts, not what he thinks may be true or not. Even now we are not sure how strong a connection there is between the idiot who set himself on fire and al-Qaeda in Yemen.
As far as the President goes, unlike the last one who attacked the wrong country, this President seems to be taking the fight to al-Qaeda wherever they are. Those weren’t flowers we dropped on al-Qaeda in Yemen nor are the drones that have been targeting al-Qaeda in Pakistan. I think this President knows exactly who al-Qaeda is.
Right angels. Keep living in that universe of yours.
That’s right Kris, I’ll stick to facts instead of living in some made up world of opinions that are pawned off as facts.
I’ll give you one of my opinions. If this is the best al-Qaeda has got, then I would say the President is doing a pretty good job.
The harder Obama tries to “dismantle and destroy” al Qaeda, the harder they will try to destroy us. The more bombs that Obama drops on them, the more bombings they will visit upon us. That’s the way it has worked with the Israli/Palestinian conflict for the past 50 years and that’s the way it will work for Obama. Or any other dimwitted President who embraces the Zionist, neocon, warmongering way. Unlike Dick Cheney, secularhuman, angels81 and all those who try to make us believe otherwise, this is a criminal problem. It is not a problem that can be solved by illegally invading and occupying for 10 years other peoples countries with 100,000 man armies. If that were the solution to this criminal problem than the Israeli/Palestinian conflict would have been solved in favor of Israel long ago. Peace

So Imhotep, let me see if I’ve got this straight. First thing we do is withdraw all troops out of Afghanistan and Iraq. Second we withdraw all support to Israel, then we tell al-Qaeda that we are sorry and will leave them alone to do whatever they like, and then they will leave us alone and we will be safe. Do I have that about right?
al-Qaeda would have never attacked us on 9/11, if we hadn’t supported Israel and liberated Kwait from Saddam and just have given up on any interests we have in that part of the world right? Oh yea, I forgot, we would also have to withdraw all support for the Saudis, because Bin Laden didn’t like them either. It seems like high price to pay for peace with a bunch of terrorists who go around the world killing civilians.
Obama’s people just “starting” to figure it out, eh? Wow Obama’s people really are clueless. This guy is Jimmy Carter all over again. I’ve always believed that hope does spring eternal but I’m fast coming to the conclusion Obama is hopeless. I really do hope I’m wrong.
If the President is so clueless, how many successful attacks have al-Qaeda made on America? How many terrorist plans has the administration and the clueless President foiled? Maybe we should ask the dead al-Qaeda members in Yemen how clueless the President is, or the dead ones in Pakistan? I guess we would also have to call the British Prime Minister clueless too, for the Brits dropping the ball on the idiot who set himself on fire, right?

In the news today. Yemen military hits al-Qaeda safe house, vows to wipe out al-Qaeda in its country. Does anyone think this would be happening if Bush was still President? Obama by reaching out his hand to Muslims around the world has made it possible for the Yemeni government (with American military support) to take on al-Qaeda. This is how the war against al-Qaeda will be won. Obama by making America not seem like it is the enemy of the Muslim world, will find more allies who will be willing to take on the terrorists. This is how you win against the likes of al-Qaeda.

So, let me see if I have imhoplesses point of view clear.
We should tremble and cower in the closet in our bedrooms because a bunch of fundie mental cases convinced some depressed,repressed, lonely loser that nobody liked that THEY would be his newest bestest friends if he’d just blow his nuts off in a plane full of strangers and strike a blow against the great satan.
Just pull everybody out of everywhere and go home and never come outside the continental US borders again. Oh yeah, and delete the letter W from out alphabet.
