Happy Anniversary Taylor – sorry for being so late to give the congratulations. It seems you are BOTH very fortunate people.
    Best to you.

How sweet, pmichael, and thanks djjl and secularH!

We had a SUPERB evening. It was one year ago yesterday that Mark came into our living room to say it was time we moved to Washington, D.C., so I could be in the middle of the action. I’ll never forget that gift or his generosity of heart and soul, as it’s been THE most amazing 9 months, with so much more to come, no doubt.

Again, very thoughtful of you all to give us a shout out.

secularhuman, for my own enlightenment, and to better understand your point of view, could you answer a few questions for me? Have you ever read the Kolbrin Bible? How about ‘Understanding our Times’ by David Noebel? I’m sure that you’ve read Paul Kurtz’s ‘Free Inquiry’, no? Do you agree that Kurtz and the secular humanist movement stole most of its thinking from the Gnostic master Tertullian? And finally, what is your position on the Dogon of Africa? Happy anniversary Taylor and as Beaumarchais said in The Marriage of Figaro, “Of all serious things, marriage is the funniest.” Peace

  5. Taylor Marsh says:

Thanks Imhotep. Being a late entry into marriage, I’d say sense of humor leads my list on important aspects, but even more pressing is to keep your ability to have fun with your mate.

  6. whitepaw says:

Happy Anniversary Taylor — to you and your great guy (Mark I think?). I recall about a year ago how much fun we all had trying to guess where you were relocating to! I was convinced you were coming to Portland… Something about your writings at the time.. I think you’d been on a road trip up my way and I jumped to conclusions. Anyway – glad things are going well for you. Take Care!

  7. secularhumanizinevoluter says:

Imhopless, I’ll answer your questions if you’ll answer mine.
Who do you think would win, T-Rex or Godzilla?
How do you think the price of anarchist T shirts in New York would have affected the planting cycles in Ghandwana…if there had BEEN planting cycles in Ghandwanna?(Trick question, think VERY carefully about THIS one!)
And last but not least, do you think the marraige of Rosie and Sam Gamgee in the movie version of Lord of the Rings does counter the proposition that hairy feet by their very nature preclude a happy, energetic sex life?
All just to understand the angry young man, hate all things Obama place you seem to be coming from.

On second thought…why don’t you and your one trick Pony Fuck Off.

Again, Happy Anniversary DEAR Ms. Maaaaarsh,
    Happy Anniversary to youuuuu!
As for time of entry into the state of marital and conubial bliss, I didn’t get married till I was 51.

  8. Imhotep says:

Me? Hate Obama? I don’t hate anybody. Not even you secularhuman. But, I do deplore your total lack of intellectual curiosity. That and your complete lack of a sense of humor. You might think about what Aristotle said, “Education is the best provision for old age,” and get some before your time runs out. Peace

  9. pmichael says:

    Beatcha, Sec !
    I got married at 56.

Um. It was however, my fourth marriage. *L*

  10. secularhumanizinevoluter says:

Ooooo, namedroppin lil sucker ain’tcha?! Lack of a sense of humor? I LMFAO at every post you post. Intellectual curiosity? Child, when you speak from that lofty pertch of ignorant certainty,as you so often do,you’re kinda cute. In a childishly assinine sortta way.
You might consider what that old lost to the winds of time sage said “tis better to be thought a fool then to open ones mouth and confirm it!”

  11. pmichael says:

I think that was Abe Lincoln, Sec. ;-)
“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.”
