Ensign Accused of Violating Campaign Finance Laws
In an interview with ABC News, Doug Hampton, the former co-chief of staff to Sen. John Ensign (R-NV) talked about the affair between his former boss and his wife, Cindy Hampton, also a former Ensign employee.

The bombshell: “Hampton told McFadden that the money Ensign’s parents paid him in the aftermath of the affair was severance — not a gift — as Ensign had claimed, which could constitute a violation of campaign finance laws.”

Snip

You mean to say that parents don’t routinely give gifts to their son’s mistress? Who would have known? -Snark Off :p

I’d love to see Ensign gone; but I don’t put a lot of credence in what the cuckold has to say.

Great that someone posted on this, spincitysd. Agreed, djjl.

I’ve also got to say that this is quite a fall for this guy, who was once touted as having presidential chances. What a joke.

Speaking of presidential hopefuls… HE’S BAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK.

I guess a pro-Roe Republican isn’t looking so bad after Palin?

  4. djjl says:

    I guess they’re thinking of a Palin/Rudy or Rudy/Palin ticket.

  5. daubry says:

I will personally campaign for Gillibrand if that sleazeball runs against her.

Him running for pres. was enough, and we all see how well that large-scale campaign went…

  6. djjl says:

    Hey daubry,
It is so good to see you!

Heya tweet pal, how are you???

  8. djjl says:

    Taylor,
Does your match challenge go until Friday?

  9. Taylor Marsh says:

Yes, it does, djjl. I wrote in another thread that you’d be one of the people who would help get me over the top!

I know so many have already given, so it’s going to be *very* tough. But I just know we can do it.

Oh, and besides the outrage on my new post, get this:

I must confess my two BIGGEST gripes against President Obama to date are his continuing of that fu*king “faith based initiative” boondogle and now this. What the FU*K are these people thinking?
