This is potentially bad — but I have more faith in black voters. I believe black voters will remain motivated to keep dems in office and it really should not mater if Obama is on the ballot at all.

Democrats better brace for a drop in turn out among ALL voters next year and beyond, not just for African Americans.

Wait until you read of the turnout in the VA governor’s race re: Dems.

People are turned off by what’s going on right now, which includes all Democratic levels.

Republicans are ready to rumble, so I bet their the ones who will turn out. The tea baggers and town hall brawlers will be incited to come out in droves.

I wish I could find the post from a blog writer from a couple of months ago pointing out that reform involvement was more than wearing t-shirts with campaign slogans.

    Hi Taylor, Hi djjl.

I think the DEMS are thinking they are going to wait until its closer to election time to start pushing through reform measures and legislations that will motivate. Of couse I feel, not just as an African-American but as an AMERICAN who is struggling that that is horse shit. Every week they, the DEMS, who are in control of everything…should have been passing a bill a week and working hard to solve the problems. But All I see is the same ole tired grits warmed over…I know that Harry Reid has to be Sh*tting bricks here in Nevada. The numbers are not looking good for him at all.

Schumer Presses Reid on Public Option

Just hours after the Senate Finance Committee approved a long-delayed health care bill, the Senate majority leader is facing intense pressure from liberals to include a “public option” in the health care bill that comes to the Senate floor.

And one of the loudest calls is coming from a member of his own leadership team.

Sen. Charles Schumer, the third-ranking member of Senate Democratic leadership, made clear on MSNBC last night that inclusion of the public option is a decision that will fall to Reid. He laid out a strategy where the 60-vote threshold for movement in the Senate–something that’s stymied Democratic legislative effort this year–would actually give Democrats an advantage.

“Leader Reid has the option of putting in the final bill,” sand Schumer, D-N.Y., per Talking Points Memo. “If he puts it in the final bill, in the combined bill, then you would need 60 votes to remove it. And there clearly are not 60 votes against the public option. And so we’re urging him to do that, and he’s seriously considering it.”

The Dems, in particular Seante Dems, have no one to blame but themselves. If they are going to let the repugnantklan call the shots why the FU*K should anyone bother showing up to vote for them?
