Wow. Some “snag.” You can see it fully in the video here… er… not so much.
The Hill headline started out: “Effort to temporarily replace Kennedy hits a snag“. It very quickly became “Gov. Patrick to name Kennedy replacement” after The Hill learned they’d gotten the story embarrassingly wrong.
Sure it can happen. But everyone with half a brain knew Gov. Patrick would find a way, a declared emergency to do what was needed.
Dems now have 60 in the Senate.
Will it matter?
Can Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid wrangle his caucus to pass a health care bill that matters? It remains to be seen.
