A good queston, indeed. This is a great post that makes a lot of sense to me. It integrates the need for an additional stimulus with health care reform, the economy, and political implications.

I know, Taylor. The first stimulus was too small to begin with. Fat chance of getting a second one passed, huh?

As soon as the word “profit” is used in conjunction with health care you know that Americans are getting crapped on. Something is just not ethical or moral about making money on the health of Americans. I want a plan that not only gives Americans a public option but does away with the profit motive all together. Call me a socialist if you want but I want a healthy nation with healthy people and the only way we can ensure that happens is if every American is insured and all Americans have the same access to the kind of health care that our Congress people have; otherwise why shoul I pay taxes so they can have state of the art insurance coverage? When are they going to figure out they work for us, not the other way around?

I really am begining to give up any hope I had. Under the Dems things are better then under the repugnantklan…but the same ol same ol continues, just without that hatefilled flavA the repugs manage to bring to everything they besmerch. The rich will still get richer and the poor will still be thrown crumbs and told to be grateful for them.
