I find this enlightening. Especially in light of the DADT conflict going on with the military in this country. There will be those who are opposed to the ruling in India and it will be interesting to see who prevails.

Christian, Hindu, Muslim and Sikh leaders have warned that they will oppose moves to decriminalize homosexuality.

What a terrific diary of hope, JA.

You gotta love that it’s always the righteous who object, regardless of country. What people do and say in the name of God has nothing to do with the energy behind that force, though they don’t know it.

  2. Jane Austen says:

Taylor – as someone who considers herself a Christian I become furious at the self-righteous of any faith who would exclude anyone from their right to be who they are. What bothers me especially with our military is that they force men and women who take an oath to serve this country to lie and be dishonorable by denying who they are. To me that is a travisty of justice.

I wonder where the tolerance is with some of these religious groups. I agree with you, JA.
