The jackass is obvious. He’s the guy in the video who flew to Afghanistan so he could attack Robert Gates and by extension President Obama, using his “support the defense contractors” platform to do it. Abu Muqawama is taking bets (sending a little love to the invaluable COIN contingent).
Inhofe’s office has been a major source of climate change denialism. If it were only DoD he’s screwing up, he wouldn’t be a quarter of the jackass he actually is.
Some people will just sensationalize ANYTHING so long as it is in disagreement with the current President. What is the use of fighting to continue the build of an F-22 when there are F-35s in the arsenal. It’s like the morons who keep harping for more oil drilling when in a few years, most of the other major countries in the world would have made HUGE advancements in alternative energy transportation leaving us in the dust …
No wonder most of these status quo types are mostly against Education, since they can NOT access the value of advanced knowledge …
Today on the way home we had Limbaugh on. I loved it. A retired Marine who voted for McCain flat told Limbaugh that he, Hannity, Levin and the likes are to blame for Obama getting in office. And then he proceeded to tell him that he is a WWII vet and torture is not acceptable to Americans. Accused Limbaugh of being for torture and was really reaming ole Rush out. Geo can you tell me if it is true that Obama wants to ban organic farms. My daughter called me really upset because she’s big on eating only organic. I try and buy as much organic as possible. Anyway, I googled it and there is a whole list, but I just can’t imagine that it’s really true because they planted their own garden right there at the WH.

Betsy – I’m not Geo, but I believe the uproar is regarding HR 875, a bill kicking around in Congress. I have friends here in the Bay Area getting those same emails your daughter in SF is getting.

Thanks people, I sent her all the info. She was watching some video that was very long, and got so upset she wrote to Obama.

JimK it was truly great. And ole Rash Lamebrain was really shook afterwards.
A couple of weeks ago he cut off a female who told him that she’s liberal but listens to him. She went on to say that she had never heard him talk to a liberal caller. He denied it. And then told her she would have to call back the next day.
I love the title of this article, “Jackasses and Fleeing Rats.” It appeals to my somewhat perverted view of the opposition.
I hate to say this, but there ARE some issues with HR875. Small farmers, even those who grow just for local markets, would be subject to the same reporting standards as large ag business. That is a pretty onerous overhead for small farmers.
