How can you say you’ve kept us safe when 9/11 happened on your watch after being warned all summer about an attack coming, then you ignored a Presidential Daily Briefing that screamed “Bin Laden Determined to Attack in U.S.”?

How can you say you’ve kept us safe when you chose to downgrade the anti-terrorism czar to less than a cabinet position, while also refusing to meet with him in the first months of your presidency, which ended in a colossal attack on 9/11 that killed over 3,000 people?

How can you say you’ve kept us safe when the same country that offered a safe haven for terrorists before 9/11 is now once again a safe haven for terrorists, as well as the Taliban, who we once ran out of that same country post 9/11?

There’s a lot more where that came from, but Bush seems oblivious. Some things never change.
