Sarah Palin, the New Anti Environmentalist Crusader

That seals it. Palin doesn’t read at all. Neither do her right-wing minions.
Ranting about an interview Barack Obama gave in January, the
audio of which has been online since he gave it, Palin blames the “liberal
media” for not knowing about it earlier. All she had to do was try
The Google.
Obama sat with The Chronicle editorial board Jan. 17 for the interview, and
it has been available in its entirety on the newspaper’s Web site since it
took place in San Francisco during the Democratic primary season. In his wide-ranging
session with the paper, the Democratic senator from Illinois spoke about his
energy plan and an “aggressive” cap-and-trade policy, and spoke
about coal technology.“So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can. It’s
just that it will bankrupt them, because they’re going to be charged a huge
sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted,” he said. In the
same interview, the senator said that “if technology allows us to use
coal in a clean way, we should pursue it.”
The other reality is that McCain feels the same way about coal and greenhouse gases.
Oh right, Sarah Palin has no clue what they are and isn’t going to read about
them either. To her, global warming doesn’t exist. She likely doesn’t even know
the importance of taking on the coal industry either. Anyone pushing “drill,
baby, drill, mine, baby, mine” is too willfully ignorant to care about
the science of actually getting us out of our dependence on inefficient, dirty
energy that continues to harm the environment and embroil us in foreign policy escapades that endanger our national security.
Sarah Palin evidently missed the Bible lesson about caring for God’s planet.
Now she’s busy proving what one McCain aide said to the media. She’s “a
whack job.”
