Sean Hannity Gets Slapped Around

“Do not throw in the towel. … It’s clear that these debates are not going to shape the election. …” – Rush Limbaugh

God bless Robert Gibbs.

The truth is that yesterday on Sean Hannity’s show, callers were commenting about how important the special to which Gibbs refers was to them, asking Hannity to re-run it. He not only said he’d get that done, but maybe even do a part two on Obama, going even further. Sean’s radio audience loved it.

But watch out today, because right-wing radio will be on a rampage. They’ve
heard from their leader, Sarah Palin, so they’ll pull no punches.

The truth is that without Rush, Sean and the rest of the wingnut rabble, McCain
would lose by double digits. But they’re on the job, so don’t take anything
for granted.

Democrats don’t take terrestrial, democratic, turn on your radio dial any time,
anywhere seriously. If they did, we’d have put this election away already, likely also having won in 2004.

There are many things still in play right now. David Gergen and others finally
said it last night, something I haven’t written, though I’ve talked with colleagues about it, because it’s an unknown still out there. We don’t know the part race will play in voting. However, if Sarah
Palin and her troops on right-wing rabid radio have anything to say about it, they’ll make
sure it’s in play.

“This is a tie. … This is by no means over. … I think this Ayers
stuff is damning. … … (later) This whole notion of sacrifice is a bogus notion in the first place. ….” – Rush Limbaugh, beginning his show today

Next came Rush’s critique on McCain’s mortgage bailout nugget from last night.

Along with Sean
Hannity on Fox “News,” these radio barkers drive a lot of votes. Ask John Kerry. Don’t let up.
