McCain’s Record on ‘Supporting the Troops’

Keith Olbermann went straight at McCain’s voting record on veterans, as you’ll see in the clip above.

This stuff should have already been in an ad. That it isn’t is worrisome. Again, I understand the surrogate strategy, having them make the case, even though when Wes Clark did it he was basically cut loose. But if Obama’s campaign is not going to hit McCain on veterans issues straight on it’s a mistake. It’s not negative to point out his voting record. It’s making the case. It can’t all be kumbaya, punched up with McCain is “an honorable man.” That is, it can’t if you want to beat these guys.
