Lisa Caputo: ‘She’s going to do this in the right way.’

Lisa Caputo telegraphed it earlier.
As you can see from the video above, it was abruptly stopped. That’s because breaking news took over on MSNBC, where David Gregory broke the news from the New York Times that Hillary will move to endorse Obama on Friday.
“We pledged to support her to the end,” said Representative Charles W. Rangel, a New York Democrat who has been a patron of Mrs. Clinton since she first ran for the Senate. “Our problem is not being able to determine when the hell the end is.”
At the same time, some of Mrs. Clinton’s most prominent supporters — including Democrats who had held back their endorsements until the primaries were over announced they were now backing Mr. Obama.
“I was for Hillary — I wasn’t against Obama, who I think is very talented,” said Walter F. Mondale, the former vice president. “I’m glad we made a decision and I hope we can unite our party and move forward.”…
Rangel, from what I can tell, was a big impetus and the tipping point for this “breaking news” to come tumbling out. A die hard Clintonite, who originally suggested Hillary for the Senate, this was a big name to weigh in.
Senator Clinton deserves the days she needs to move from a crazy primary season into the general election season. However, we live in an impatient age, so it doesn’t look like she’s going to get what she wants.
As this news breaks, there was never a doubt that Hillary will do this the right way, I agree completely with Lisa Caputo.
Statement from the Clinton Campaign
Senator Clinton will be hosting an event in Washington, DC to thank her supporters and express her support for Senator Obama and party unity. This event will be held on Saturday to accommodate more of Senator Clinton’s supporters who want to attend.
