Dear Comment Concern Trolls

Thanks for all the emails. They’re a hoot. Quite a campaign the Obamabots have
going. But I submit that if the comments on this blog raise your blood pressure
you’re probably too dainty for the web. Gary K asks if TM.com is “fostering
hate,” then takes the time to cut and paste a whole bunch of comments into
a contact form. Seriously? This is what you do with your spare time? TM.com
is pretty tame compared to every single anti Hillary blog which spans the entire
blogosphere. The readers here are also serious activists with a lot of passion.
We’ve had many conversations about the comments and they know it’s their community
to police. No blog owner can do it, believe me, and we shouldn’t try. But some
of you Obama concern trolls obviously would do well to stick to the cooking
channel, which I love, by the way. Learned a recipe for a terrific steak sandwich
last Saturday on “The Ultimate.” Yes, I’m serious. Because political
comment sections in the middle of the most heated political contest in modern primary history
is likely not going to get less combative any time soon. You Obamabots obviously
don’t have the stomach for a serious primary fight. You were more likely expecting Clinton to fall away at the wafting of words.
I’ll let TM.com reader LM, Lt.Col. USMC (Ret.), say the rest. She does it so
well. But then she’s a Marine, so of course she would:
I would be willing to bet, from reading that sample you posted, that the
e-mails are from, yes, trolls, or at least the Obama supporters you say are
infiltrating. It sounds just like things they’ve been posting. For myself,
I just skip the troll posts, and it bugs me that some people seem compelled
to respond, but I have to say that I haven’t seen the hate and so on that
the sample e-mail mentions, at least from our folks. There’s anger, yes, and
forthright comments about Obama, and that’s fine as far as I’m concerned.
I’m a lurker. … .. Discourse here is very adult, except for the trolls and
an occasional outburst when someone just can’t stand the bias, lying, and
cheating anymore. No problem with that. Just a POV from a Hillary supporting
lurker, retired Marine, woman, and totally disgusted American. Don’t fall
on your sword attempting to be fair to Obama. .. …. He doesn’t know the
meaning of fairness and he doesn’t deserve any consideration. The people on
your blog, except the trolls, are doing very well on their own and are being
far more polite than he merits.
You got to love Marines. They don’t mince any words. My big brother is a Marine. That’s one reason why I’ve always loved Rep. John Murtha. If you haven’t read it before, I did a big piece on the swiftboating of John Murtha for the Patriot Project back during 2004. He’s tough and smart. Oh, and Murtha has endorsed Clinton.
“Her experience and careful consideration of these issues convinced me that she is best qualified to lead our nation and to bring credibility back to the White House,” Murtha said. He said he “whole-heartedly” recommends Clinton to all voters in his state.
No one has led on getting out of Iraq more intensely than John Murtha. He wouldn’t endorse Clinton if he didn’t believe she was serious about redeployment and could do the job the right way.
Anyway, Obamabot concern trolls are out in force. The Wright catastrophe has Obamabots in a panic. You know the drill. Don’t feed…
