Reverend Wright on Video

The video speaks for itself. I’ve seen many tapes of Rev. Wright. The wing-nuts have been rolling this stuff out as well. He’s now retired, but he was Senator Obama’s spiritual mentor for two decades. This has been circulating, but is now in the spotlight:
The title of Obama’s second book, “The Audacity of Hope,” was taken from a sermon by Wright.
During a Christmas sermon, Wright tried to compare Obama’s upbringing to Jesus at the hands of the Romans.
“Barack knows what it means living in a country and a culture that is controlled by rich white people,” Wright said. “Hillary would never know that.
“Hillary ain’t never been called a nigger. Hillary has never had a people defined as a non-person.”
In his Jan. 13 sermon, Wright said:
“Hillary is married to Bill, and Bill has been good to us. No he ain’t! Bill did us, just like he did Monica Lewinsky. He was riding dirty.” … ..
For perspective, I certainly do not agree with everything my pastors have said on Sunday. I also know too many “cafeteria” Catholics, some in my own family, who pick and choose from the doctrines of their faith.
However, there is something about Reverend Wright that strikes me as not your average Sunday morning.
UPDATE: The Opinionator quotes my post above on the subject. The part they quote is important, but what they leave out is equally so, because it sums up my opinion putting a warning on Rev. Wright’s impact on Senator Obama.
