Obama Owns NAFTAgate

This
is what I reported
from the
very start
. Then Obama’s team denied it and Obama himself flat out misstated
the facts to the press on camera, thinking (knowing) they’d give him a pass. Even though CTV.ca
stood by the facts
(which I also proved), and has now been confirmed by the office of Canada’s Prime Minister. When everybody on
cable, the traditional media, as well as the progressive blogosphere were saying
it wasn’t true. After Keith Olbermann made a bigger fool out of himself, which
has Edward R. Murrow cringing every time Olbermann signs off. When the Obama
blogs went further and embarrassed themselves to say it was actually Clinton,
without looking at the original evidence or the facts, which never crosses their
minds. From the start this was yet another boneheaded mistake by Obama and his
team, only on an international scale.

Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton never gave Canada
any secret assurances about the future of NAFTA such as those allegedly offered
by Barack Obama’s campaign, Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s office said Friday.

With the NAFTA affair swirling over the U.S. election and Canadian officials
skittish about saying anything else that might influence the race, it took
the PMO two days to deliver the information.

After being asked whether Canadian officials asked for — or received
— any briefings from a Clinton campaign representative outlining her
plans on NAFTA, a spokeswoman for the prime minister offered a response Friday.

“The answer is no, they did not,” said Harper spokeswoman
Sandra Buckler.
… ..

Ms. Clinton’s team reacted furiously to the Brodie story and offered the Canadian government “blanket immunity” to publicly release the name of any campaign official who might have offered such back-channel assurances.

PMO:
Officials only got briefing from Obama campaign

“Blanket immunity” is the exact same thing I reported when this all started.

Blue collar Democrats aren’t stupid. Ohioans, Texans and others, including Pennsylvanians, as well as this Harry Truman Missourian, get it. We know when a politician is trying to pull a fast one. We can see it a mile away.
