The Anti Hillary Campaign in Texas
19 February 2008 9:46 am by Taylor Marsh
Dick Morris openly campaigning for Republicans in Texas to vote against Clinton.
An email mirrors more of the same:
“Those white male voters are itching to torpedo Hillary in the Texas
Demo primary.”
It’s from the same
guy who wrote the offensive emails out of Iowa, plus did the robo-calls
against her.
Let’s also not forget that Texas is swiftboating Bob Perry country.
It’s all fair game.
I guess I’m saying this just to warn everyone what’s waiting for Clinton in
a state that’s important to her if she’s going to have a chance of stopping Obama’s moves.
Certainly she’s got support lots of support in Texas, but she’s also got a wall of resistance
waiting for her.
Texas just may be akin to walking up hill in stilettos. It can be done, but
it’s not easy, looks ugly, and is painful to the person trying to do it. But
any way you slice it, there’s trouble waiting in Texas for Clinton. It’s not going to be as easy for her as some are saying, something I’ve never quite believed.
A new SUSA poll mimics how tight Obama’s making it in Texas: Clinton 50%; Obama 45%. There’s lots of time left for this to tighten.
