New Hampshire Debate Day updated

I’m putting this update up front. Via Marc Ambinder, Clinton’s taking Paul Begala’s advice, which he gave last night on “Charlie Rose.” Reveal yourself, have fun, let the voters see who you really are, which is a funny, light hearted, quick witted woman. Exhibit A:

… ..She then asked her daughter Chelsea to remove a barrier set up by the Secret Service in order to accommodate more people.

“Cheals, just want to take that off. People can just sit down, so people aren’t up against the bar there.”

The audience erupted in cheers.

“See? I am a problem solver, Clinton said. “I’ve been telling you that for this whole campaign,” she said.

In the commotion, Clinton heard the cry of a toddler.

“I know honey. Sometimes, I feel that way too.” …..

The song from the Dixie Chicks “Ready to Run” was the music for Clinton after her speech last night at the New Hampshire “100 Club” Dinner. To update this post from earlier, I’ve change out added another video with one from someone who was at the event. It gets raucous during Clinton’s speech. The man who took the video says the event was packed with Obama supporters, who were the ones booing. Time makes no mention of the event packing, but simply bemoans the boos without any context. What else is new? That said, no one is doubting the enthusiasm for Barack Obama, who has clearly caught fire, not only with the press. He inspires many people and you’d have to be on the moon not to see the energy. But the boos towards Hillary came from Obama supporters, not Democrats in general who were in the room, which is the wingnut story traveling around today.

You can watch the event on video, compliments of C-SPAN (h/t to reader Grey in Hot Topics.)

UPDATE: Zogby:

Democrat Hillary Clinton held even and retained a slight edge against the advancing Barack Obama in the wake of Obama’s win in Iowa, the latest Reuters/C–SPAN/Zogby telephone tracking poll of likely New Hampshire primary voters shows.

Democrat John Edwards also remained steady at 20%, well back of Clinton but within striking distance. But partial polling after Iowa suggests some slippage may be in the offing for both Clinton and Edwards.

From the Suffolk/7 Saturday poll, Obama cuts into Clinton’s lead.:

The first half of the survey was done on Thursday, before Iowa’s caucus results were known. The remainder was done on Friday.

Clinton’s 36 percent gave her a seven-point lead over Obama, down from the 12 point margin reported when Suffolk’s previous two-day poll was released Friday morning.

But Rasmussen has Obama up 10 points.
