In sports, it’s a word that inspires cheering for the little guy.
In America, we love to root for ‘em.
In politics, it can be a magic word, even when unspoken. But with all that money and support, does it fit? Or is Edwards the real underdog at this point?
UPDATE II: In the life is weirder than fiction department, Dick Cheney and Obama are related. No, really.
UPDATE: TO ADD… Obama is the one implying he’s the underdog in the ad above.
