Pelosi Gets Win on Iraq Withdrawal updated

It went 223 – 201, but it went the way the American people want, with House Democrats and four Republicans voting to get the troops out of Iraq by next spring, April, to be exact.
The House vote will not be mirrored in the Senate yet, but Pelosi is making people vote again and again on this war. This time she got a win that will be reported on the nightly news and all over cable and wingnut radio, even beyond.
Call it what you want, but it matters. The public are sick of what’s going on, so this will be news well received, if a longer time coming than anyone wanted. Pelosi understands and feels the same as the rest of us. Now she’s just got to keep moving Republicans over, one at a time.
