A savvy business woman who sold “services.”
“You're not selling your soul, for God's sakes,” scoffed
the DC madam.
“I'll bring every last one of them in if necessary,” said
Palfrey.
Prominent CEO's, lobbyists for both political parties, but no members of Congress
or White House officials. Honestly, there are always big shots in these types of stings. But Mr. “shock and awe,” Harlan Ullman, gets
smacked by Palfrey. Evidently, Mr. Ullman got a few complaints from her girls.
But considering the orders from the madam, it's hard to see how complaints could
come from these types of services.
Palfrey maintains her service did nothing illegal and only provided “fantasy,
legal sex,” which does not include intercourse of any kind or oral sex.

Think a private fantasy without the strip joint. Get it?
Sex and power and politics and even internationl intrigue have always gone together. Remember the latest story from Harpers about the CIA? Sex has been used as currency in the halls of power from the beginning of… well… the beginning. The truth is if you pay for sex then you can be had even more easily than others. Remember Robert Hanson?
But this picture is a classic. It's like all the home grown porn operators that sprung up during the explosion of the Internets. Women with children working at home talking dirty on the phone, or strippers who walked away from clubs posting personal pictures on a website for fans to ogle. A lot of this type of stuff is anything but glamorous.
Palfrey made it clear tonight, however, that she's going to fight this all
the way. She's been to jail once for “pimping” and isn't going back
without a fight. So we may not recognize some of the men she's got in her sights,
but that doesn't mean there aren't quite a few guys in the power circles of Washington who aren't sleeping very well tonight.
