What is Tom Delay Doing on Meet the Press?

Let\’s see, an indicted Republican versus a former admiral. Hmmm… It\’s such
a hard choice, isn\’t it? Tom Delay is the best they\’ve got? It\’s embarrassing for Republicans and equally embarrassing for NBC and Tim Russert that they had to go to Delay to carry the Republicans\’ water. Seems like the Fox \”News\” penchant for putting
up soundrels as \”experts\” is catching on. Or is Timmy just trying to help the indicted Tom Delay sell his book?
Maybe someone should send Tim Russert
his mug shot, because he obviously didn\’t get the memo. Feel free to inform him. A former admiral and congressman should not be subjected to the rantings of some disgraced Republican chickenhawk hack.
Rep. Joe Sestak has experience and the resume to talk on military issues. I just love hearing the disgraced Delay
and Richard Perle telling him how to conduct military operations. Republicans
love to insult our military when they\’re not parroting the Republica Party line, especially when that military person is a
Democrat. It\’s all about politics with Republicans and using the military for
their own ends.
Rep. Joe Sestak was having none of it today.
One thing is clear, with the four year commenmoration of the Iraq war coming up, the war is getting hotter every day.
