Blunt Blows It Big Time
I thought Roy had all the votes locked up? But it seems that Shadegg's
votes went to Boehner. The reason for the “mulligan” leader vote?
House Republicans are taking a mulligan
on the first ballot for Majority Leader. The first count showed more
votes cast than Republicans present at the Conference meeting. RollCall
Republicans can't even get the vote right when they're counting
their own! Hilarious.
But both Blunt and Boehner opened
up their wallets to try and sway the voters. There's nothing like money
to make leaders out of rats. But Boehner actually took it a step further, passing
out checks from his tobacco buddies on the House floor.

John A. Boehner of Ohio, chairman of the House Republican Conference, decided
